Step-by-Step Guide to Trivia Treasure Hunt

  • • To win the BTC prize, you need to unlock a crypto vault by finding a 12-word seed phrase, which acts as the vault’s private key. The prize amount fluctuates because it's based on BTC value, not a fixed amount in EUR. The prize, worth €1000 in BTC, is based on the exchange rate as of June 27, 2023.(check the current prize pool here).

    • The seed phrase is hidden within the 5-book Trivia Series.

    • Each book contains 2 quizzes, which answers to two words of the seed phrase.

    • The last 2 seed words have to be found by the players themself (refer to BIP 39 ; most probably you'll need the help of the computer).

  • • Seed phrase is a set of 12 words that act as the master key (the private key), necessary for unlocking the vault. The master key is generated according to the BIP 39 standard and provides a way to recover the private key and access the funds in the vault. (If you are extra interested about the technology you can find more information about BIP 39 from here).

    • All the answers (words of the seed phrase) can be found from the word list in here.

  • • Once you have gathered all 12 seed words, use a BIP 39-compatible wallet application or online service that supports seed phrase recovery to unlock the vault.

    • You can simply access (this process is also known as "wallet recovery") the wallet through Trust Wallet (guide in here).

  • • When you have gathered all 12 seed words, try to unlock the vault. The vault address is in here.

    • After successfully unlocking the vault, you'll have access to the prize funds (€1000 in BTC). Transfer the BTC to your own Bitcoin address. Make sure you have your own Bitcoin wallet ready to receive the funds.

    • The first person to successfully unlock the vault and transfer the BTC to their own address will be declared the winner.
